Instagram's @snowsportspencer rediscovering the joy of mountain biking in Park City.

It used to be that businesses in Park City would close up for the summer. Today, not so much. One longtime PC resident recently commented that he no longer, “goes into the city on the weekends during the summer” because he can’t deal with all the traffic and people.

While no one would confuse Park City’s Main Street for the Las Vegas Strip, the fact is Park City now welcomes close to four million visitors annually and more than 40% of those visitors come to Park City between May and September when the ski runs are closed.

For a town of just more than 8,000 residents this could be overwhelming, yet Park City seems to thrive on its popularity. Here are some of Park City’s biggest summer draws:

1) Mountain Biking and Cycling

2) Park City Resort’s Mountain Coaster and Alpine Slide

3) Zip Line Tour at Utah Olympic Park

4) Horseback Riding & Hiking

5) Water Sports & River Rafting

6) Art, Art & More Art!

7) Music, Music & More Music!

In addition to those activities which are unique to Park City, there a dozen more activities like golf, bowling and rock climbing which are immensely more enjoyable due to the fact that you are doing them in Park City.
