For years restaurants in Park City have participated in community events and special dining dates with temporary seating on Main Street. Since 2010 however “dining decks” have been officially permitted to individual Main Street restaurants by the city which has increased overall dining capacity on one of the most popular 3/4 of a mile stretches in America.
Unlike The Cabin or Café Terigo who have patio seating year round, the dining decks are seasonal running from May to the end of October. The dining decks occupy what would otherwise be a parking spot or two in front of their respective restaurants. The extra seating has been a huge success, helping to keep diners on Park City’s Main Street. Which in turn has benefited the entire restaurant scene on Main Street.
Participating restaurants in 2019 include; 501 on Main, Crystal Park Cantina, Flanigan’s, Main Street Pizza & Noodle and Shabu.
